HPL – high pressure laminate, as the name suggests, is a laminate produced under high pressure. Panels of this kind are created from several layers of paper impregnated with resin. Under high pressure and at the right temperature, a material is formed that has very good visual properties and is also extremely resistant to the effects of adverse factors (both internal and external). The result of the entire process is a material with a consistent structure that does not delaminate or undergo any undesirable transformations. High Pressure Laminate is manufactured using a Multi Daylight Press machine, known for the visible space between each press section. This hot pressing method involves 2 or 3 layers and allows for loading multiple panels simultaneously through an automatic loader. Various sizes, pressure levels, and daylight numbers can be customized based on production requirements.
The production line may include a single multi-daylight press or two independent presses with a shared loader.
A high-quality HPL is created under extreme pressure exceeding 1000 bars, a significant contrast to the pressure levels of an espresso machine or household taps.
