HPL is made by layering core and decorative papers that are soaked in resins, then compressed under high heat and pressure between steel plates. This process creates a uniform, solid sheet. HPL laminates offer exceptional strength, with high resistance to impacts, abrasion, and everyday wear. Their surface is completely waterproof and stays sealed even under heavy pressure. The decorative paper can feature any color or pattern, and textures can be embossed onto the surface. Additionally, different levels of gloss can be added to achieve the desired appearance and feel for the design.

Wood is valued for its natural warmth and beauty, but much of it comes from unsustainable logging practices. If these continue, there is a serious risk of deforestation, which could significantly harm the environment.
Decoral’s sublimation technology offers an eco-friendly alternative by allowing any image to be transferred onto aluminum surfaces. Available finishes include glossy and matte options, with either smooth or textured surfaces. Woodminium aluminum profiles, sheets, and 3D objects are first powder coated using Qualicoat-approved powders.

Then, the chosen sublimation heat transfer film, featuring the desired pattern or effect, is applied to the prepared metal surface.
